All-on-4 Implants &
'Teeth in a Day'

The clever All-on-4 method is perfect for patients with an inadequate amount of bone in their jaw – making the All-on procedure the ultimate graftless solution.

All-on-4 is a life-changing full-arch rehabilitation treatment that targets complete tooth loss. The incredible treatment concept replaces several missing teeth in a row in just one sitting!

Hence its alias, Teeth in a Day – this means that patients can enter our practice in Elephant & Castle, London, with a full arch of missing teeth and leave the same day with a brand new, dazzling prosthetic within just a few hours.

FOUR quick questions to assess your viability for finance

Scientifically Proven To Work For Multiple Tooth Loss

All-on-4 is a prosthodontic procedure that delivers a stable, long-term fixed solution compared to removable dentures.

All-on-4 uses only four implants to secure real-looking teeth for multiple decades. Following the conventional concept of dental implants, All-on-4 uses individual implants that act as artificial tooth roots that help dentures look and feel closer to natural teeth.

The hybrid dentures are fixed onto the implant but can be removed, so if you are a denture-wearer, you’ll never have to worry about your dentures slipping again.

Patients can save thousands on the price of individual implants, bone grafts and sinus lift surgery.

All On 4 Costs

The price of the all-on treatment can vary. Prices are subject to change depending on the number of implants placed and the final restoration material for the new teeth.

As a rough indication, patients can expect to pay £14,000 per arch of missing teeth. Here at Mint Dental, for single implants, we charge £2,950. The cost includes the implant, crown, abutment, surgery, the dentist’s time and all of your appointments. More.

  • Is All on 4 available on the NHS? Implant dentistry is not offered for free via the NHS. In many cases of missing teeth, cheaper alternatives like dentures or bridges or more likely to be prescribed.
  • Can you get All-on-4 through health insurance? Yes, some policies recognise and include dental implants, but you must check with your coverage and provider.
  • Is All-on-4 available on dental finance? Patients of Mint Dental can spread the cost of their treatment over 60 months (interest-free finance is available for 12 months only).

The Only Implant Solution That Does Not Require A Sufficient Amount Of Bone

Our dental clinicians place implants (prosthetics) into your jawbone and then attach a fixed denture to the implants. And unlike many conventional implant procedures, the ‘all-on’ procedure suits the most complex missing teeth cases.

All on 4 does not require sufficient bone at the implant’s site. The revolutionary method is hailed as incredible for complex patient cases who might otherwise require extensive bone grafting and sinus augmentations. And just like its name, All-on-4 uses a hybrid denture bridge of teeth that attaches to only four, or in some cases, six (all-on-six) implants.

With dental implants, the more we use in combination treatments like this, the stronger and more stable the restoration becomes because more pressure is distributed evenly across the jaw. And the benefits of using a bridge, in this case, mean that patients do not need to purchase an implant for every missing tooth (which would certainly add up).

Therefore, the all-on procedure is quicker, less complicated, and more affordable than using individual implants per gap.

Before and after dental implants

Costs from £2,950 incl. crown, abutment + post

  • Clinical spec: After a failed dental bridge this patient was left with a large gap which affected her smile and function. Dental implants were used to restore both.

Why Hundreds Of Our Patients Are Choosing All-On-4

It’s no news that denture wearers in the UK are unhappy with dentures. Not just how they look but how they function and feel. And while your mouth can get used to this new way of living, the All-on-Four method aims to remove eating and speaking limitations that provide patients a new sense of freedom.

Therefore, the rise of All-on-Four has hit the UK as it offers the perfect alternative to uncomfortable and loose dentures. And as the procedure is designed to provide a stable solution to total tooth loss, patients can choose to replace a single arch of missing teeth or both.

Explaining Tooth Implantation

The Immediate Implant Loading Process From Start To Finish

Mint Dental is proud to offer free consultations with one of our regular dentists. However, if you’re looking for professional advice, as is often the case with complex total tooth loss cases, a consultation fee of £75 is charged.

You’ll meet with one of our most talented implant dentists, who has undergone extensive training to be regarded as an expert in dental implant surgery. During your consultation, the dentist will examine and scan the mouth for suitability and, at the same time, answer any questions or concerns you might have about the upcoming procedure.

If you are new to our practice, this first step is for us to gain a better idea and insight into how your mouth works. We’ll do this by gathering a proper dental and oral health history and any specific special measures or requirements.

If you decide that you wish to proceed with the surgery, we will conduct a CT scan that will highlight the best position in the jaw for the implants to be successfully placed. From here, we will get you booked in for your implant placement appointment.

Four, six or eight implants (depending on your requirements) will be inserted into the jaw using small titanium screws that will retain them. In typical circumstances, the back implants are angled 30 to 45 degrees from the biting plane, where the implant can be placed in front of the maxillary sinus in the upper jaw.

The specific angling and position of this placement method reduce the need for sufficient bone quality and density in the jaw. So, patients who were unsuitable for conventional implant treatment in the past would be perfect candidates for the All-on-4 or All-on-6 method.

For nervous or anxious patients, please note that it is possible to use a local anaesthetic to reduce any discomfort if you prefer.

PLACEMENT OVERVIEW:

  • The implant dentist positions the metal post (abutment) during surgery.
  • Temporary teeth are fixed on top – patients are reminded that these are temporary teeth and will feel different to your final restoration.
  • Your replacement teeth (bridge), typically made from acrylic or porcelain, will be placed by the dentist once a sufficient healing period has occurred. Usually, three months following implantation, temporary teeth are finally exchanged for your final, long-lasting bridge. Patients are reminded that the temporary bridge will allow them to smile confidently in the meantime, eat normally and chew heavier foods.

With Mint Dental, you’ll never leave our surgery without being fully informed and advised on the best follow-up care. Our existing patients know that we go the extra mile whatever the treatment. So if you have any issues or are not fully confident about your advice, please contact us with any problems.

The essential aftercare measure is to keep up your effective oral health routine, like brushing your teeth twice a day. Dental implants require no special care or maintenance. But we recommend using a good quality, soft-bristle toothbrush to clean your teeth.

We advise that All-on-4 patients visit the dentist every six months. You should also regularly undergo hygienist appointments to ensure your mouth remains a safe and healthy space for the implants to thrive.

Do You Qualify For The ‘Teeth Now’ Treatment?

  • Missing most of your teeth along the dental ridge
  • Have several missing teeth in the upper or lower arches
  • You do not have gum disease or other underlying conditions
  • You have sufficient gum tissue in place to support dental implants

Even though All on 4 is a graftless solution, it does not mean all dental patients are typically a good fit.

Sometimes, those candidates with a poor oral health history or those with underlying conditions that might impact their healing rate following surgery are typically not very good candidates for the procedure.

The All-on-4 procedure is ideal for patients experiencing total tooth loss, having few natural teeth or denture wearers looking for a more stable, long-term solution to missing teeth.

4 years a customer and always professional yet friendly service. Corrected my major issues (fillings/caps) and while they’re keen to ensure ongoing ‘perfect teeth’ they don’t hard sell peripheral / optional treatments. Highly recommended

I was looking for somewhere with a personal touch, that I could trust and that’s what I got at Mint. They always remember my name and are so polite. After a year of zoom meetings I really wanted my teeth to be straight and the results completely surpassed my expectations. I now feel comfortable taking photos! The team explained everything clearly (I felt I could ask anything multiple times) appointments were always organised and it was a really easy, worthwhile process. My teeth look like my teeth but are now at their best.
