“I’ve had problems with my gums for most of my adult life, but last night they were throbbing so much that I couldn’t sleep through the pain or irritation. Dental tip: While you’re waiting for your appointment, improve your comfort by applying a cold compress to the outside of your mouth or cheek. Avoid rubbing anything on your gums, even if you’re desperate for relief as they can irritate the situation more and burn your gum tissue.
