If you are unhappy with your smile due to chipped, cracked, misshapen, missing, overlapping, or discoloured teeth, Mint Dental Clinic offer a range of cosmetic dental services we call a “Smile Makeover.”

Depending on your individual needs, a smile makeover can include teeth whitening, composite bonding, dental implants, porcelain veneers, orthodontic treatment, tooth-coloured fillings, or combining two or more cosmetic techniques.

The first step is a comprehensive smile assessment, where your dentist will consider your unique dental profile and overall health. Your dentist will discuss the various cosmetic treatment options with you, highlighting what they believe to be the priority areas to address in your smile makeovers.

Once you and your dentist have agreed on a treatment plan, they will provide you with an appointment scheduled, and your work can begin.

What can you do about misaligned teeth?

At Mint Dental Clinic, we use Invisalign^®, a state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment system that uses transparent thermoplastic aligners to straighten teeth.

Many patients see an improvement after wearing the custom-made aligners for three months.

You can remove Invisalign^® aligners when eating, brushing, and flossing, making this a comfortable and convenient experience for the wearer.

Your dentist will begin by taking a digital 3D scan of your teeth. Not only will they send this scan to the Invisalign^® laboratory to have your aligners produced, but they can also provide you with a visual representation of how you can expect the system to improve your smile over time.

You will wear each of your Invisalign^® aligners for a week before switching to the next one in the series to continue the treatment.

You will also have regular appointments with your dentist so they can monitor your progress.

Invisalign^® can correct an overbite, underbite, crossbite, and gaps between the teeth, as well as realign the teeth to improve your smile.

Treatment duration depends on the initial condition of your teeth and the results you want to achieve.

A smile makeover is an investment in your dental health and overall physical and emotional well-being. Costs vary according to the range of procedures you require and the complexity of your case.

However, excellent dental implant methods are available for replacing entire arches of teeth with only a small number of implants, sometimes in a single appointment.

How long will it take to complete my smile makeover?

Depending on the range and complexity of treatments required, you may be able to complete a smile makeover in a day. For more complex cases, a smile makeover could span several months. Your dentist will provide an estimated timescale for your treatment at your first consultation.
