Boutique Whitening aims to simplify tooth whitening – however, with several different types and versions of the agent, it can get confusing to know which one is right for you – and which is the fastest (and most convenient) to deliver a brighter, whiter smile.

As cosmetic dentists offer an incredible system, we thought there was no one better to break down the types so you have a better idea of what to ask for when booking your treatment. That said, please note that with any tooth whitening treatment, all patients must have a prior consultation to ascertain if it’s safe for them to use.

Types of Boutique Whitening Gels

Boutique by day (6% Hydrogen Peroxide)

• Requires 1.5 hours of wear time per day.
• Results were noticeable within the first half an hour.
• Worn over 7-10 days.

Boutique by Night (10% Carbamide Peroxide)

• Designed for patients with slight sensitivity.
• Designed for overnight wear or 3-4 hours per night.
• Each syringe should last around five days.

Boutique by Night (16% Carbamide Peroxide)

• Maximum strength overnight formula.
• Worn for 4 hours or overnight.
• Tough on stains but gentle on teeth.

Boutique B1 Guarantee (16% Carbamide Peroxide)

The strongest!

• Guarantees Shade B1.
• Twice the amount of gel as a regular kit
• Overnight formula.
• Eight syringes and upper and lower whitening trays.
• If B1 is not achieved, more syringes will be sent.

We must assess your teeth and gums to ensure you’ll be a great candidate for Boutique Whitening. As these agents contain much higher percentages of peroxide than any over-the-counter product, we must first test your teeth and gums’ sensitivity to ensure a comfortable and safe process.

In order not to take up much of your time, we can assess your viability for tooth whitening and, in the same appointment, give you your kits to take home and begin.

During this appointment, we’ll also explain how Boutique Whitening works and give you all the necessary instructions to issue the product without causing sensitivity or irritation. Getting the right amount of gel will be essential for correctly administering the agent. For example, if you use too little, the teeth may not whiten very well, or if you use too much, experience heightened sensitivity.
